Comfort movies:- A great escape plan

Comfort movies are basically the movies that you’ll most probably refer to your friends, The movies that you watch to escape from the feeling of a bad day at work or any other such demotivating situation. Comfort movies give you that feeling of belonging. I remember watching “La la land” and listening to its songs innumerable times last year when I was feeling low after my Intermediate results. It really helped me to stick to my path.

I hear a lot of people just love watching the episodes from their favorite sitcoms again and again. I love to watch random episodes from “Friends” at random times. Bareilly ki Barfi, Notting hill, 3 idiots are some of the other comfort movies that I love to watch. But the ultimate comfort movie for me has to be “The Intern”.

It’s a 2015 film starring Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway telling a story about a Senior citizen joining an E-commerce company as an intern. Firstly hesitating Jules (Anne) slowly makes friends with Ben (Robert) while going through difficulty in her own professional and personal life.

Having a comfort movie is like having a friend to whom we can turn to any time in our anger or sadness. I do it a lot. I just call one of my friends and say to him all the things. It just makes no difference to them but it makes for us. So it’s great to have such movies/buddies to take help us escape from the reality of life to one of our own comfy places!!!
